Learning and Teaching Standards for Environment and Sustainability

The Environment and Sustainability Learning and Teaching Academic Standards (LTAS) project aims to develop Threshold Learning Outcomes (TLOs) for the environment and sustainability field – documenting what students need to know and be able to do to upon graduation.

The project team is seeking consultation with a wide range of stakeholders including students, professional associations, employers and civil society organisations to help develop the Statement. Interested stakeholders can provide input by completing our questionnaire or sending us comments directly.

Student Q&A

September 4 2014 Written by

The Newcastle University Student Environment Club is hosting a Q&A style forum aimed at students - Thursday 11 September 5:30pm at the Godfrey Tanner Bar, University of Newcastle.

This is not only an opportunity for us to learn from students but also for students to meet folks from a range of employment backgrounds to find out what it’s like out there in the real world after their studies are completed. There will be representatives with experience in state and local government, private business, consulting, university, NGOs and volunteering on the panel.
